After somehow coming out a victor of the 74th annual hunger games, Katniss Everdeen is in more danger out of the arena than she was while fighting for her life against 23 other people in it. The Capitol is not happy that she made it out alive, they’re embarrassed, and they will avenge her victory at all costs (even if it’s through her family, friends, and acquaintances). While touring the other districts, it becomes clearly evident that her victory has sparked a fire of rebellion against the Capitol, since they view her as their mascot.
Throughout the novel, there continues to be a tough line between what she should logically do and what her heart tells her to do that makes the book that much harder to put down. There is also the 75th annual hunger games, a quarter quell, and the responsibility of becoming a mentor for District 12 to worry about, which packs a punch that leaves you speechless. I can’t wait until my audible.com credit comes up on October 6th to read the last book in the series, Mockingjay. Can NOT wait!
On another note, I told you all that they would be coming out! Check out what I found when I was trying to find a picture or drawing of Petta Mellarch, team Peeta EVERYTHING! Click here for Hunger Game shirts.
